I am Philipp Lehmann and work for SAP SE as a software architect in the digital commerce platform (DCP) project. As a Senior Software Architect at SAP, I am at the forefront of innovation, shaping the landscape of our Digital Commerce Platform. Leveraging my extensive experience with Java Spring Boot microservices and Kubernetes orchestration, I lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance e-commerce solutions. My role involves providing strategic direction, mentoring development teams, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies. With a focus on reliability, security, and optimal system architecture, I am committed to delivering a robust platform that empowers businesses to thrive in the digital commerce space.

Before I started at SAP I worked for SHARE NOW (former car2go) in the position as a software architect. I work in the “vehicle integration” team and am responsible for the project “Integrated Carsharing”. There I am responsible for the rental process and for enhancing the individual customer experience. I manage the demand processes and I am in charge of the customisation of the car sharing services. To achieve this, I work intensively with the Daimler IT infrastructure and the Daimler Vehicle Backend Team.

Furthermore I worked as a software engineer for T-Systems International GmbH for more than six years in the division “Global Delivery Center Product Lifecycle Management“ in the team PDM Integration. I was active in projects for internal customers like the German Telekom AG and external customers like Airbus S.A.S, BMW AG or Daimler AG.

In my sparetime and in association with colleagues from various professions I am active in a robotic project. The aim is the realization of a compliant, dynamically walking and climbing robot. The software framework for robot software development is based on the open source robotics platform ROS (Ubuntu Linux) and the open-source computer hardware and software project Arduino.
